Hi
I am little worried almost this issue, when I turn on my computer it stays on for anywhere between 1 to three seconds, no longer, and then it shuts off and and so turns on again and after this it stays on, information technology doesn't close down anymore at all. But I would really like to know what is causing it to turn on for a few seconds and then plow of again and then turn on again. If you have any ideas delight share them, cheers
PLEASE NOTE : This reckoner is only a few days onetime, never touched since information technology was built and was not doing this when I first built it!
This is the build: AMD FX-6300 Overclocked to 4.0Ghz Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Memory: G.Skill Sniper Serial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB iii.5" 7200RPM GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB Instance: Zalman Z11 Plus ATX Mid Tower PSU: XFX 550W ATX12V / EPS12V

Err, how practise yous plow it on and off? I retrieve this might not be a problem, It's simply something your PSU/MOBO does to non overload your reckoner, information technology sort of "turns the ignition" to make sure the power is flowing smoothly, so it actually turns on. I believe my computer does the same thing if I practise a full shutdown/unplug the cord from the back. It the fans kinda spin for a second or two, and then stop, and so information technology starts upwards everything simply fine.

We'll start with the unproblematic thing first. Have yous popped out the CMOS battery? If not, do that and leave it out for 10 seconds, popular information technology dorsum in and power upwards. If you lot've already tried that and then nosotros can attempt looking at the effect logs
What is the CMOS Bombardment??

Nosotros'll first with the simple thing first. Have you popped out the CMOS bombardment? If not, do that and go out information technology out for ten seconds, pop information technology dorsum in and ability up. If y'all've already tried that then we tin try looking at the event logs
What is the CMOS Battery??
If y'all look on this image http://content.hwigroup.net/images/products/xl/200162/gigabyte_ga970aud3p.jpg you can see the round silver disc to the left hand side, between the graphics card slots. Just turn off your PC, unplug it from the mains ability, so open the instance, find that bombardment and pop information technology out. Go out it out for 10 seconds, pop information technology back in, put the instance back together and power it up.

I just press the power push, or the shut down push in Windows 8. But it's good to know that, thanks Shouldn't be an issue so!
